Elkader Register, Thur., 16 Mar. 1905. Littleport column.

A young son of Joe Thurn, thirteen years old, was buried here Tuesday. He had been a patient sufferer for some time with rheumatism. Although the weather was extremely stormy, the funeral was quite large and his remains were laid to rest in the Littleport cemetery.
