KILLED IN CANADA
Henry C. Schoch Loses Life in Powder Factory Explosion
A dispatch received today from Fred Leibrock states that Henry C. Schoch, a former Elkader boy, was killed as a result of an [explosion] at Beloeil, Quebec, Canada. An Associated Press dispatch in the Minneapolis Journal gives an account of the explosion which occurred in the factory of the Canadian Explosives Co., Tuesday, and states that six persons were killed and eight others seriously injured. Among the names of those injured we find that of H. C. Schoch. He was a nephew of R. F. Schmidt, Mrs. W. F. Kleinpell; Mrs. Herman Katschkowsky and Mrs. W. J. Jeffers, and has many other relatives here.
