John Seitz died Friday night, nearly eighty years old. His daughters have all been at his bedside for several weeks. His six son-in-laws served as pall bearers at the funeral Sunday afternoon. They are: A. L. Meier, Postville; A. L. Gilbert, Milwaukee; Geo. H. Otis, Monona; and C. A. Jordan, R. D. Blackburn, and W. J. Knowles, of McGregor. Rev. D. C. Dutton officiated at the obsequies. Deceased had been a member of the M.E. church since his fourteenth year and was a man highly respected by all. He has lived here over fifty years.
