From 1941 until 1950, he made his home in Fargo, H. D., while serving as state superintendent of Congregational churches in North Dakota. He had been retired since then.

Dr. Brandt returned to Sheboygan in 1945 as a guest preacher during the celebration of the First Congregational Church’s centennial.

He is survived by one son, Raymond, of Janesville, Wis.; a daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Brandt of New York City; three grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.

His first wife, Madge Wilson, died in 1919. Later, while serving his pastorate in Sheboygan, he was married to Marjorie Holbrook who died in 1936.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Chapel in Beloit, with the Rev. Stanley Crosland, pastor of the First Congregational Church in Beloit, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Akron.
