Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Jan. 1904. Local News columns.

Chas. Kline, aged 28 years, died Sunday, January 10th, at the county asylum. He had been an inmate of the asylum since May 31st, 1901. His father, Jacob Kline, came up from Clayton Monday and took the remains home. The funeral was held Wednesday at Guttenberg. The young man was afflicted with epilepsy.
