Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Sept. 1902. Garnavillo column.

DIED- Monday afternoon September 7, Gustave Thielberg at his home on the Tewes farm in Read, at the age of 30 years, after a lingering illness. He leaves to mourn a wife, two sons and one daughter. Burial Wednesday on the old cemetery. Services conducted by Rev. W. Braun.
