Mr. Enos C. Hills, who has been aged and helpless for some years, passed away Aug. 30th, at 7 p.m. The record of his life is very incomplete - no one in this place knows the date or any circumstances of his birth. He called himself 85 years of age but others claim a greater age. His birthday was some time in March. He was buried Sunday at 2:30 p.m., from the home of Mr. McConnell with whom he had stayed the past year. No relative was at the funeral. One sister, Mrs. St. John, lives in Missouri. No other near relative can definitely be located. The deceased was, at his death a member of the M.E. church, he having joined about seven years ago. He died with a living faith in Christ.
