Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Feb. 1902. Colesburg column.

Charlie Brown, the ten year old son of Jos. Brown and wife, was taken sick on Sunday, with typhoid fever, and died Tuesday morning at five o'clock. He was a bright, manly little fellow, and his loss is keenly felt by his parents, and the three brothers and one sister who survive. The father is very ill with the same disease. The funeral was held Wednesday, burial in the Brown cemetery.
