DIED- At her home near Pringhar, O'Brien Co., Iowa, Jan. 24 1902, aged 63 years, Mrs. August Kahle, formerly of National, Iowa. Her remains were brought to this place for burial, which occurred Monday afternoon, Rev. F. Somerlad, officiating. She was laid to rest beside her husband who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn eight children, four sons and four daughters, all of whom are married, and many sorrowing friends.

(Note: WPA records indicate, Mary Kahle, 63 y, 23 Jan. 1902, buried in Guttenberg cemetery.)
