P. F. Cassidy of North McGregor, a bridge foreman, was killed when several large timbers, which he was unloading, slipped and fell, one striking him on the head. He was about 55 years old.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Feb. 20, 1854 and died Sept. 24, 1915. He is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
