The family of Wm. McSperrin received the sad news last Wednesday from Kenosha, Wis., where Mr. McSperrin was engaged as section foreman for the Northwestern, that he had been killed by a train. His remains were brought here Saturday and buried Sunday. Deceased was about 53 years old and leaves a wife and children, of whom five are married. Mr. McS. was engaged with a gang of men at work, and while he was walking up the track a fast train approached from behind him. A son, who was with him, saw it and endeavored to make his father hear, but the train struck him, he living but a few moments.
