Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Mar. 1899. Strawberry Point column.
Theodore Kaylor, infant and only son of Mr. Newman Simmons and wife, died Sunday of pneumonia. Only but a few months ago the little one brightened the happy home of the fond parents and now called away so soon. The pride and hope of the fond parents is stilled forever. We cannot tell with words the sorrow the fond parents, yet we extend our poor sympathy to them, knowing how little that does to console them and ease their pain. Funeral services were held Tuesday.
"One more little angel in Heaven,
Our darling has gone to be,
Robed and crowned as an angel;
Such brightness we never shall see.Not until we shall enter in
At the golden gates above,
Then we shall see our little darling
in that glorious light above."--- --- ---
