Word was received here Saturday morning of the death of George, a son of Patrick Fitzpatrick, at the hospital at Independence, on Friday last. His death was caused by an intestinal rupture producing peritonitis. He was about 43 years of age, and has been in ill health for the past eighteen years. The remains were brought here and the funeral held on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's, Rev. Father Reilly officiating. He has passed away to the light of a better life. Peace be with him.
