Fatal Accident.
Postville Graphic:—While driving a team attached to a hay loader, on the farm of Mr. Bachus in Grand Meadow township, one day last week Emma Dahms met with an accident which resulted in her death on Saturday afternoon. An end broke of a singletree, the released end of the doubletree coming back with terrible force struck the young girl on the side, causing internal injuries from which death relieved her as above stated. Emma was only a little over l3 years and 6 months old, and her untimely death is a severe blow to the family.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born April 15, 1884 and died October 3, 1897. She is buried in the Postville Cemetery.
