Clayton County Register, Thur., 21 Nov. 1929.

Funeral services were held at the Marion church at Gunder Saturday, Nov. 16, for Ole L. Halverson, the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating. Mr. Halverson was found dead in bed on the morning of Nov. 13.

Mr. Halverson was born in Marion township, Oct. 22, 1862, was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. Outside of a short time spent in Montana and North Dakota, he lived at Gunder. Mr. Halverson never married. He leaves to mourn his death three brothers and one sister, namely: Halvor L. Halverson of Minneapolis; Reier Halverson of Landa, N.Dak.; Peter Halverson of Hillsboro, N.Dak.; and Mrs. Torger Thompson of Pine Wood, Minn.
