John Kean, a former resident of this place, passed away at his home in McGregor on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12. He leaves to mourn his departure, his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Kean, and brother, William, of McGregor; two sisters, Mrs. O. C. Entwisle and Mrs. H. T. Orr, of Monona. The funeral was held at the Catholic church in McGregor on Thursday morning under the auspices of the American Legion. Burial was made in the family lot at Monona with full military honors.
