Louisa Klink Stahl was born near Communia, Iowa, October 13, 1867. On Mar. 29, 1895, at the age of 27 years she was united in marriage to August Stahl. Three children were born to them, two boys and one girl, Velma Scott and Leser, of Osborne, and Clarence, who preceded her in death by eleven years.

About one o'clock Friday morning, October 18, She was taken seriously ill with a stroke of paralysis, never regaining consciousness at any time. Everything possible was done for the beloved wife and mother, but to no avail. On Sunday, October 20, at 3:00 o'clock in the morning, she passed away at her home in Osborne where she has lived for the past three years, at the age of 62 years and seven days.

Deceased is mourned by her husband, August Stahl, one son and one daughter already named, also one grandchild, Melvin Scott; three brothers, Louis and Henry, of near Communia, and Peter of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Tieden, of Dodge Center, Minn., Mrs. Minnie Greve and Mrs. Emma Hildebrandt, both of Littleport, Iowa. One sister, Mrs. Edward Berns, one son, Clarence, and both father and mother preceded her in death.

The departed was of a quiet disposition, a loving wife, and a kind neighbor, ever helping wherever she could.

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon and at two o'clock services were held in the Evangelical church here. She was laid to rest beside her son in the East Side cemetery, with Rev. C. H. Franke officiating.
