Bickel, Anna K. 1895-1896

During the past week Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bickel have been called upon to part with their two youngest children and their only girls.

Anna Katharine Bickel was born July 15, 1896 (sic), and died of diphtheria August 3rd, 1896. For just a little over a year this little one gladdened the home now made so desolate. The heartfelt sympathies of all our citizens go out to the bereaved family.

Note: Her parents were John D. & Mary Anna (Hanson) Bickel. The father died in March, 1928 and the mother in February 1939. Anna is buried in Pleasant Grove cemetery, as are her parents
