This entire community was saddened Monday by the death of Lars Olson which occurred at his home near Gunder.

Mr. Olson was born in Norway December 16, 1861 and as a boy of five years came to America and later to Gunder where he has since resided. In 1888 he was married to Mina Ostlie and to this union six children were born, three of them dying in infancy. Those left to mourn his death are his wife and three sons, Louis, Arthur and Clarence and an adopted daughter Lyla at home. Also five grandchildren several brothers and sisters and a large circle of friends. The funeral was held Thursday from the home and the East Clermont church, the Rev. G. Gunsten officiating.
