Died - Charlotte A. Garrison was born at Harvard, Nebraska, July 11, 1876, and died at Dubuque, Ia., Jan 2, 1909.

Charlotte came to McGregor with her parents when she was 14 years old, and with her sweet sunny disposition won the love of all who made her acquaintance. March 4th, 1896 she was united in marriage to Robert R. Freeman of this city making this their home until a few years ago when they moved to Dubuque, the home that is bereft of an affectionate daughter, a devoted wife and an indulgent loving mother.

Three children proceeded her to the great beyond, and there are three left, Laura, George, and Percy, with their aged grandmother to share the husbands griefs.

Lottie as all loved to cal her was sick but a short time and the cheerful brave heart never gave up, that all would not be well, almost the last words were that she would soon be all right, now I will sleep.

He that guardeth his flock best
Foldeth them into his loving breast
Sleep beloved, sleep.

The remains were brought from Dubuque Tuesday afternoon, pall bearers being members of the united trainmen, and met by a delegation of the Royal Neighbors, Lottie being a member of that order, funeral services being held in the church were she was a faithful attendant and Sabbath School scholar for many years. Rev. Munn offering words of comfort to the bereaved.

Beautiful flowers tributes of love and esteem were strewn around the casket, and the loved one laid at rest in mother earth.

We buried her underneath the snow one day,
In early winter, the beloved clay.
Of one our hearts had held in tender love;
We wiped away our tears, and looked above,
To Him whose life and death assure
The deathless life of all the good and pure.

Those coming from a distance to pay their last respects to Mrs. Freeman were, Mrs. Albert Bratsburg, Mrs. George Hartman, Mrs. Hibberd and Mrs. Casey of Dubuque, and Mrs. Gus shaffer of Des Moines.

Card of Thanks
To the united trainmen, the Royal Neighbors, and all friends who tendered us so much loving sympathy and aid during our recent bereavement we are deeply grateful.
Geo. Freeman and wife
Mrs. Laura Garrison
Robert Freeman and children.
