Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Feb. 1900. Elkport and Vicinity column.

Mrs. James Foster, of Updegraff, died Wednesday. We are very sorry to hear of the death of this worthy lady and we deeply sympathize with the bereaved husband in his severe bereavement.

(Note: WPA records show Mary L. Foster, 1825 - 21 Feb. 1900, buried in the Brown cemetery.)
