Joseph Peck, 94, of St. Francis home, Dubuque, died at the home last Thursday morning. Funeral services were held in St. Francis chapel at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial was in Mount Calvary cemetery.
Born April 17, 1851 in Austria, he moved to this county with his wife, Mary Hackel Peck, in 1880, settling in McGregor, Iowa, in 1916. He had been a resident of St. Francis home since 1925.
Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. William Hampshire, McGregor, Mrs. J.C. Laufer, Coulee Dam, Wash., Miss Theresa Peck, Dubuque, and Mrs. Edward Berns, Potosi, Wis., and one son, Joseph Peck, Rockford, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two daughters.
