DIED - Mrs. Joseph Peck, Wednesday April 23, 1902 at her home in the Swede Settlement, after an illness of about three weeks. She was a patient sufferer until the last.
Mrs. Peck's maiden name was Maria Hackel, she was born in Germany in 1851 and in 1876 was united in marriage to Joseph Peck, they came to this country in 1880.
Seven children were bon to them, six of whom are living; Mrs. Will Hampshire, Misses Lizzie, Martha, Theresa and Anna; and James, who with her husband mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother.
Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary's church, Rev. Father O'Donnell officiating.
