Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Dec. 1922. Littleport column.

Word was received the last of the week announcing the death of Mr. White at Iowa City where he had gone some weeks ago in search of health. The funeral was held at Osterdock Monday. We are without particulars.

Sylvanus White, a former resident of Elkport died at the Iowa City Hospital Saturday. Mr. White was an honorable upright man and leaves many friends to mourn his death.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

His remains were buried in Bethel Cemetery Tuesday.
