The funeral of Michael Flaherty a former pioneer of Volga Twp., took place at St. Michael's church Saturday a.m. He passed away at the home of his niece at Oelwein Thursday Nov. 16 at the age of 72 years. The funeral services were conducted by Father Minogue, burial at the Elkport Cemetery.
