Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walters infant daughter, Phyllis Effie, passed away Wednesday morning. Interment was made in the Farmersburg cemetery.

Elkader Register, Thur., 12 Oct. 1922. Farmersburg column.

A baby girl came to gladden the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walter. The little one had to taste of earths unmerciful rudeness, she took sick with pneumonia and in spite of the very best of care she received from her loved ones she departed for the other shore a week ago Friday. Rev. Hilmer of the Giard M.E. had christened the little one and he also administered words of consolation to the bereaved family when they laid the little dear baby to rest in the U.B. cemetery.
