Mrs. Ortman, formerly of Garber, died at her home in Mason City on Monday March 27th, at the age of 79 years. She was brought to Elkport where funeral services were held on Thursday.
------
The remains of Mrs. Fred Ortman Sr., were brought here from Mason City last week and laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Ortman was one of the pioneer settlers of Garber. She leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
