Clayton County Register, Thur., 12 Oct. 1933. Volga column.

The death of W. B. Sherman of Cherokee occurred Sunday evening here at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lydia Green. Mr. Sherman, with his wife, came here two weeks ago to attend the Taylor reunion, and while here was striccken with heart trouble, which caused his death.

The body was sent to Cherokee Tuesday, where funeral services and burial were held.

Deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter residing at Casper, Wyo.; one brother, Lyman, of this place, and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Green of Volga and Mrs. Ernest Roebuck of Waterloo.
