Clayton County Register, Thur., 05 Oct. 1933.

Mrs. M. Tieden, nee Clara Klink, was born near Communia on May 3, 1873. She died Sept. 25, at her farm home in Dodd Center, Minn.

On Sept. 1_, (looks like 10, 16 or 18) 1893, the deceased was united in marriage to M. Tieden of Communia. For ten years they resided on a farm near that place. In 1903 they moved to a farm at Dodd Center, Minn., where she remained until her death.

Mrs. Tieden was enjoying average health until a week before her death, when she suffered a paralytic stroke. The best of medical care was obtained and all that loving hands could do was done, but to no avail.

About two years ago, her husband preceded her in death, caused by burns he suffered through the explosion of an oil stove which he was lighting. Two of her sons have also departed this life.

Her departure is mourned by her daughter, Mrs. Audrey Wilcox; her two sons, Carol and Robert of Dodd Center, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Greve of Motor, Mrs. Emma Hildebrandt of Edgewood; three brothers, namely, Peter Klink of Chicago, Henry Klink of Communia, Louie Klink of Motor; and two grandchildren, Alvin and Arthur Tieden.

Services were held in the Congregational church at Dodd Center, Minn., Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 26. The body was brought to the home of her brother, Henry Klink, of Communia, Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock another service was conducted in the above named home, Rev. P. Kitterer officiating. Interment was made in the Communia cemetery.

The deceased reached the age of 60 years, four months and 22 days.
