Mrs. William H. Schoch, nee Anna Kohler, former resident of Guttenberg, passed away at her home in Dubuque Friday evening, after an illness of long duration, and at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 22 days. Mrs. Schoch was born at Guttenberg on Sept. 30, 1882, where she grew to womanhood. For the past twenty-five years she has been a resident of Dubuque. On December 23, 1923, she was married to William H. Schoch. Her death is deeply mourned by by her husband, one brother, John Kohler of Dubuque; one sister, Mrs. Chas. Huebsch of Waterloo, and many other relatives and friends, who will all sadly miss her. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Kohler of Guttenberg, have preceded her in death. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon, with burial in the City cemetery here. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Dale D. Welch of Dubuque. The funeral was well attended. Deceased was a niece of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Mueller, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sodawasser of this place.
