Clayton County Register, Thur., 06 Sept. 1933. McGregor column.

Word was received here by the Sam Gween family of the death of his sister, Mrs. Sam Deming, at San Francisco, Calif. The body will arrive here Monday a.m. Services will be held in the Methodist church with interment in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

(Note: correct name Elizabeth (Gween) Dewing, 1860 - 1933)

The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Gween Dewing were brought here Monday morning from San Francisco, for burial. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Rev. Allhouse officiating. Interment in the Moody Cemetery.

Deceased was born May 21, 1860, and married Frank A. Dewing on June 29, 1880, he having died several years ago.

She leaves to mourn her loss her son and daughter, Samuel and Louise of San Francisco, and one brother, Sam Gween, of McGregor.
