Clayton County Register, Thur., 23 Mar. 1933. Monona column.

Funeral services for Henry Kliefoth, 56, were held Monday afternoon from the Farmersburg Luth. church. Mr. Kliefoth, although in good health, died very suddenly early Friday morning. Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Henry Kliefoth, two sons, Clarence of north Monona, and Harry at home; one granddaughter, Jerrina Ann Kliefoth; one sister, Mrs. F. Funk, and one brother, John F. Kliefoth, Sr., all of Monona. Mr. Kliefoth was a kind husband, loving father, a good neighbor and a true friend. He will be sadly missed by the family and neighbors. The sympathy of the community is extended the family.
