Henry Wille, a prominent farmer of Elk township, died very suddenly Sunday afternoon from apoplexy. The deceased was fifty years of age and was born and raised on the farm now owned by him. He leaves his wife and six children to mourn the death of a kind and beloved husband and father. Our entire community sympathize, with the afflicted family in their sad bereavement.

Michael Henry Wille, son of Ferdinand Wille and Ernastine Wille, nee Fritz, was born March 26, 1878, in Volga township, Clayton county, Iowa. In infancy he was baptized (April 22, 1878) and after being duly instructed he was confirmed, April 10, 1892. In the year 1901, on Feb. 14th, he was united in holy wedlock to Miss Emma Waterman, to which union ten children were born, one dying in infancy. Mr. Wille was not ailing as far as man could see, but his untimely death came to all when the sad news was spread that Mr. Wille had passed away and was brought home a corpse, Sunday, Dec. 16, 1928.
He reached the age of 50 years, eight months and twenty days. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his widow, four sons; Erwin, Realto, Delores and Wilbert; five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Williams, Mrs. Nora Hansel, Velma, Orvilda and Gladys; five sisters, Mrs. Christ Beeh, Mrs. John Meenan, Mrs. C. Rodas, Mrs. Henry Waterman, Mrs. C. C. Waterman and one sister, Mrs. John Winkler preceded him in death. Five grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends also mourn his passing.
Funeral services were conducted at the home of the deceased Wednesday, Dec. 19th, at one p.m. and at the Ev. Luth. church at Elkport of which he was a communicant. Interment was made in the church cemetery. The Rev. F. E. Damm officiated.
