Clayton County Register, Thur., 09 Aug. 1928. Strawberry Point column.

The remains of Mrs. Maria Balluff, of Oelwein, were brought here Monday for interment in the family lot of our cemetery. Mrs. Balluff and her husband, Joe Balluff, now deceased, ran a restaurant here a number of years ago and will be remembered by our older residents.

Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Balluff, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Everetts, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Everetts, Miss Gertrude Balluff, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Wiltse and Miss Leonore and John Baldridge attended the funeral services of Mrs. Maria Balluff at Oelwein last Monday.
