Last Friday morning Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hagensick were called upon to part with their baby boy, Lester Raymond. He was born October 29th, and died Dec. 23rd, 1910. He had been sick about a week with pneumonia and the day before seemed better so that his death, Friday morning, was a heavy shock to the anxious family, turning their hopes to ashes and their anticipations of Christmas joy to sadness. The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. Franke officiating, and the babe was laid to rest in the East Side cemetery. The sympathy of our community goes out to the bereaved parents and other relatives.
