The Silent Reaper.
Mrs. David Worth, the aged mother of Henry Worth, died at her son’s home in the first ward some time between Thursday night and Friday morning. Retiring in her usual health, she was found dead in the morning when a member of the family went to call her. Mrs. Worth was 81 years and 1 month old, and the cause of her death was heart failure. The remains were taken to Monona Saturday for burial beside those of other members of the family.

Note: buried in Council Hill cemetery, she & husband David are enumerated on the 1895 IA State census in the household of their son Henry living near Ion in Fairview twp., Allamakee co. IA. Mr. Worth died in May 1895.
