Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 10 Mar. 1910. Wagner column.
A sad accident befell Olavus O. Wold as he was on his way from Elgin to Decorah. He was found dead on the railroad track and from we have been able to learn, he had been run over by the train. He was dead when found and the funeral will be held at the Norway church March 10th. His father, O. A. Wold and brother, A. O. Wold, went after him and brought the remains back home. As we are without any particulars about the accident, we are not at present, to tell how Olavus came to his death, but as it is, it is a sad ending and a shock to all who knew him that he was, in this way, taken away from this world.
