Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 17 Mar. 1910. Strawberry Point column.

Mrs. Tom Hines died last Tuesday from the effects of a paralytic stroke. This was the third stroke she had suffered, and she was alone in the house at the time. She was attending to the fire when the fatal stroke came, and when Mr. Hines arrived in the house he was horrified to find her lying on the floor unconscious. She died a short while afterwards. Funeral was held today.
