The Death Angel visited the home of the Rev. Otto Wappler, the Lutheran pastor, on Feb. 15th. God's messenger called for the youngest of the three children. Ruth Marie Ida Amilie came into this world Nov. 23, 1909, and left it at noon Feb. 15 1910. She had been very dear to the household in her twelve-weeks stay with them. Father, Mother, brother and sister mourning her departure are comforted in knowing she has gone to Him who blessed little children. The little one was sick less than a week with broncho-pneumonia.

The funeral service was held at the Lutheran church on Thursday, the Rev. A. Paulson, of Luana, preaching from John 1:21.
