Wilson, Maudie Mae 1914-1916

Maudie Mae Wilson was born near Bridgeport, Wis., June 8th, 1914, and died at her home here, October 25, 1916, after a week's illness.

Three weeks before her death, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wilson removed from Bridgeport, to North McGregor, which formerly was their home.

The funeral services were held from the family home October 26, the services conducted by Rev. Peddicord. The burial was in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery.

The sympathy of all are with the sorrowing parents and relatives, and He who said "Suffer the little ones to come unto me," will comfort them in their days of grief.

Beside the parents, one sister, Mrs. Harrison Barker, and five brothers, George, Mark, Elmer, Oscar and John mourn the parting.

Note: her Iowa Death Certificate (familysearch.org) gives burial in Knapp cemetery, which is also known as Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
