DIED - At the family residence on Pleasant Ridge, March 17, 1884, Mrs. Henry Feay, aged 56 years.
Mrs. Feay was a woman loved and admired by all who knew her; a wife and mother whose home attainments were of the highest merit; a christian whose life was devoted to work of charity. A neighbor and friend among the sisterhood on Pleasant Ridge the past twenty odd years, her loss is deeply deplored.
She had been in ill health for several months from a chronic disease, and only a few weeks ago suffered a stroke of paralysis which hastened the dreaded hour of parting. Her death was calm and peaceful, with the confidence of gaining the Heavenly reward.
She leaves a husband and several children - four sons and four daughters - to mourn her loss. The sympathy of the neighborhood, and all acquainted with the family, are with the husband and children.
The funeral took place on Tuesday, the remains placed at rest in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.

Notes:
-Maiden name was Sargent or Sargeant
-Her husband's obit states he was buried in Council Hill cemetery, it is possible that she also is buried there. The Pleasant Ridge cemetery often referred to as the Knapp cemetery, but in this case may also refer historically to Council Hill cemetery. Interested researchers should determine her correct burial place.
