Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 31 Dec. 1914.

Mary Alice Harvey, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. L. Harvey, was born at Elkader, Iowa, Nov. 8th, 1908, and passed away at Finley Hospital, at Dubuque, on Dec. 24th, 1914, at the age of six years, one month and 16 days. She was taken sick last May with pneumonia, which later developed into empyema, for which she was operated upon also in May, and was taken to Finley Hospital at Dubuque for treatment on Nov. 6th. She seemed to be improving until Dec. 17th, when she took a turn for the worse and passed away on the date above stated.

She is survived by her parents, three sisters, Vivian R. Evelyn A. and June K., one brother, Charles R., besides her grandparents, uncles, aunts and numerous friends.

We join with the numerous friends in extending our heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowing ones.
