Julia Elizabeth Russell, daughter of James and Martha Russell, was born May 22nd, 1882, at Elkader, Iowa, and died at her home Nov. 1st, 1914, aged 32 years, five months and nine days.

She was united in marriage with Louis Reinke, of Lewiston, Mich., Sept. 7th, 1910, and they resided in Lewiston for one winter, after which they moved back to Elkader, where they have since made their home.

Call not back the dear departed,
Anchored safe where storms are o'er.
On the border land we left her,
Seen to meet and part no more.
When we leave this world of changes,
When we leave this world of care.
We shall find our missing loved one,
In our Father's Mansion fair.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, Nov.4th, at the house and Congregational church, Rev. Franke conducting the same, as such had been the special wish of the departed before her death.

Her departure is mourned by the husband, Louis Reinke; her mother, Mrs. Martha Russell, of Farmersburg; the grandmother, Mrs. Mitchel, of National, and other relatives and friends.
