LORENZ, KIRCH, BECKER, FOEHRINGER

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Guttenberg Methodist church for Mrs. Frances M. Lorenz. The services will be conducted by Rev. Donald Caspers, pastor.

Burial will be in the Guttenberg City cemetery in charge of the Tuecke funeral home, where the body will be until the services.

Mrs. Lorenz died suddenly at her home here Monday morning. She was 79 years of age.

A lifelong resident of Guttenberg, Mrs. Lorenz was born here July 21, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Kirch. In the year 1893, she was married to Anthony Lorenz in Guttenberg and they were the parents of two sons and two daughters.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Vivian Lorenz, who made her home with her mother here, and the two sons, Arnold of Portland, Oregon, and Lester of Lamont. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carl Becker of Mitchell, south Dakota, and Mrs. George Foehringer of Cassville, Wisconsin, and two brothers, George Kirch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ed Kirch of Mitchell, South Dakota. Four grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Lorenz was preceded by Mr. Lorenz, who died in December of 1947, and a daughter, Cornelia, who died in infancy, and by four brothers.
