Died, at his home Sunday morning, May 24th, Henry J. Kutzbach, at the age of 67 years and one month.
He was born April 24th, 1847, at Adolpheseck, Ratting, Germany, and came to America in 1875, working in Cleveland, Ohio, for three years. In 1878 he came to Clayton County, Ia., where he has since resided. On November 26th, 1882, he was married to Mrs. Wilhelmina Bensing. This union was blessed with eight children, three boys and five girls. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; Mrs. Lenna Hoth, of South Dakota; Ernest Kutzbach, of Emporia, Kansas; Mrs. Ernest Kluth, of Giard township; Mrs. Wm. Heins, of Luana; and Louis, Emilie and Henry at home, and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the German Lutheran church, Rev. Theo. Guetzlaff officiating. The family has the sympathy of all in their bereavement. Burial in the Farmersburg cemetery.
