—Mrs. Rebecca Sandusky, mother of Mayor Sandusky, died at New Hampton on the 26th ult., aged 76 years. “In the fullness of years, painlessly, and with a heart at peace with all the world, the burdens of a life enriched by sacrifice, toll and devotion, were lifted, and she passed to her eternal reward,” is the tribute paid to her memory.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in the Brown Cemetery in Clayton County. Her gravestone shows she was born Oct, 7, 1826 and died April 27, 1902.
