Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 26 Mar. 1914.

Miss Mary Ellen Price, daughter of Hon. Eliphalet Price and Mary L. Price, his wife, was born March 16th, 1850, at Glen Fruin, the old Price homestead in Jefferson township, Clayton County, Iowa, and departed this life at the home of her brother, Realto E. Price, of Elkader, Iowa, on Tuesday morning, March 24th, 1914, aged 64 years and 8 days.

Deceased has been an invalid all her life and on the death of her father, in Colorado, she was brought back to this county and for the past thirty-two years she has lived in the family of her brother, Realto E. Price.

Deceased is survived by four brothers, Realto E., of Elkader; Treverious G., of Burlington, Colo; Eliphalet I., and Alpine W., of San Jose, Cali.

The funeral services were held this afternoon from her late home, Rev. Franke officiating. Interment was in the East Side cemetery.
