Mrs. Falk, Mrs. Lutz and H. Miller attended the funeral of Mrs. Falk’s brother, Laurence Glass*, of Strawberry Point, last Thursday.

*Note: Strawberry Point cemetery, shows that his gravestone is engraved:

Lorenz Glasz SR
born March 30 1821
died March 11, 1902

Notice of administration published in local papers following his death consistently spell his name as Lorenz Glass SR or L. Glass SR. A Birth record shared on Ancestry shows his name as: Laurent Glass

Elkader Register, Thur., 13 Mar. 1902. Strawberry Point column.

L. Glass. Sr., aged nearly 82 years, passed peacefully away last Tuesday morning after a short illness. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death. Funeral services were held at the home Thursday after which they were continued at the Lutheran church, Rev. Graf officiating.
