Two years and nine months ago he was united in marriage with Miss Clara Franck, his sorrowing wife. After his marriage he lived two years in Monona and vicinity.

Last winter he moved on a farm near Lawler. About three weeks ago he went to Minneapolis for medical treatment where death over took him May 28th, his age being 54 years, 8 months and 16 days.

Besides his wife he leaves to mourn two sisters and five brothers together with a large circle of friends and relatives. The Rev. P.F Walter assisted by Rev. E.G. Glaeser of Alma, officiated at the funeral services.
