At their home in Read township, on Tuesday, Dec. 1st, 1908, after an illness of about two weeks, occurred the death of Mrs. Al. Wood, aged about 28 years. She was formerly Miss Hattie Tate. The unfortunate husband is left with a family of six children, the oldest about 11 years old. The funeral was held this morning at the Congregational church under the auspices of the Royal Neighbors, of which she was a member. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved husband and children.
